On July 31, an alumna of The Bachelor and her fiance, Grant Michael Troutt, were engaged after a proposal on the beach. Grant is seen on the beach, surrounded by white candles, dropping down on one knee while wearing a blue suit in photographs posted to Instagram to commemorate the momentous occasion.
Madison, who wore a white gown for the occasion, captioned the photo she posted on August 1 with the phrase “You were worth the wait.”
According to Us Weekly, Madison made her relationship with Grant, a former UC Santa Barbara basketball player and the son of Excel Communications founder Kenny Troutt, public on Instagram in May. Grant is also a former NBA player, according to reports. At the time, she was introducing her followers to “the realist G in town.”
“Grant Michael Troutt, so full of passion, purpose, and pleasure, I am proud I get to do life with someone who loves Jesus and people like you do,” she wrote on May 5. “I am proud that I get to spend my life with someone who loves Jesus and people as much as you do,” she said. Madison discussed the reasons she felt ready to reveal her connection to the rest of the world after making the decision to bring their relationship into the open.
