To commemorate the 170th birthday of the department store, the initial concept for this celebration was conceived by Frédéric Bodenes, artistic director of the BM. Juliette Colin, of the Crumble Production troupe, was in charge of directing the event. According to Frédéric Bones, “I went to a performance of Sleep No More, the legendary New York production, which is credited with inventing this new kind of theatre, about 10 years ago. I can freely admit that I did not comprehend very much at the time, but despite this, I thought the experience to be fantastic.
