The Roman house celebrated the 25th anniversary of its world-renowned Baguette bag by hosting a show in honor of the occasion. The bag became popular as a result of the series Sex and the City.
Images of Kim Jones pulling down the enormous curtain at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom so that it comes crashing down on stage have been making the rounds on social media over the last weekend. These images were taken at the venue. This excellent teaser is in the image of the event that Fendi planned to have: a show celebrating the 25th anniversary of its world-famous Baguette bag thanks to Sex and the City, the series that made Manhattan the trendiest metropolitan area of its time during its run from 1998 to 2004. Who better to celebrate the city that never stops moving than an Italian company, a British artistic director, and a bag with a name that’s French yet made in France?
The crowds of the big nights can be found on Friday night in the vicinity of the Manhattan Center.
