MAINTENANCE – The French designer collaborates with Zara on a line of costume jewelry for their MAINTENANCE collection.
Her necklaces and earrings were the finishing touches on the collections designed by Alber Elbaz, who was the creative director of Lanvin at the time. For ten years, beginning in the early 2000s, they were the highlight of every Lanvin fashion show. Elie Top had also rubbed hands with Loulou de la Falaise, an avid collector of amazing jewels, at Yves Saint Laurent in the late 1990s, which is where the two men had first met. The meeting took place at Yves Saint Laurent. Since 2015, he had given up fantasy to focus all of his attention on (expensive) jewelry. However, it takes another dive in September, due to Zara and book accessories like brooches, rings, earrings, and necklaces, all in XXL of course.

The teams reached out to me out of the blue the previous year to tell me how much they admired what I had accomplished at Lanvin. They wanted to learn more about my jewelry lines, so I invited them to my showroom on avenue Saint-Honoré in Paris. After that, they allowed me complete leeway.
