In a bout against Frenchman Jaber Zayani, boxing legend Manny Pacquiao will make his comeback to the ring for the first time since announcing his retirement barely one year ago.
Legend Manny Pacquiao has no intention of giving up the fight. The battle that will mark the Filipino’s return to the ring will be against Jaber Zayani of France, who is unbeaten in his professional career. The match will take place almost a year after the Filipino’s most recent encounter.
After his loss to Yordenis Ugas in August 2021, Pacquiao pursued his political career in his home country of the Philippines. The Filipino, who has won the world championship a total of eight times across six distinct disciplines, will therefore compete in Riyadh in February 2022 for the (last) time. The Frenchman Jaber Zayani will be the opponent for the man who has 62 professional victories under his belt and is 44 years old. Both guys are familiar with one another, with Zayani having played a notable role in Pacquiao’s preparation for his fight against Keith Thurman in 2019.
