Frankfurt, Germany will play host to the draw for the upcoming European tournament on October 9th.
Because of their loss on Sunday to Denmark (2-0) in the League of Nations, France will be placed in the second hat during the draw for qualifying for the Euro 2024 football tournament. This is because the loss prevented France from placing among the top ten seeds. Before the draw that will take place on October 9 in Frankfurt, the distribution of European teams among the various categories will be determined based on their position under the League of Nations classification system. France will almost certainly end up in the third-worst position in the League of Nations because they have only five points after six matches. But only the top two-thirds will be seeded into the competition.
The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Croatia, Hungary, and even Denmark are all teams who are included in hat 1, and they are all teams that the Blues might potentially meet during the qualification round, which is scheduled to take place from March until November of 2023. In addition to Germany, which is hosting the competition, the ten group champions and ten runners-up will also advance. After the playoffs, which are slated to take place in March of 2024, the remaining three slots will be granted.
