Aminata Diallo, a football player, was taken into custody once more on Friday morning following her detention the previous night in connection with the investigation into the assault on her former teammate.
Footballer Aminata Diallo was taken into custody once more on Friday morning as part of the investigation into the attack on her former teammate at Paris SG, Kheira Hamraoui, the prosecutor’s office in Versailles told AFP, confirming information from the JDD. Aminata Diallo was arrested on Friday morning and again placed in the custody of the police.
Aminata Diallo, who has been without a club ever since her contract at PSG expired, had already been taken into custody by the police in connection with this issue in November 2021, but she was ultimately released without any charges being brought against her.
Taking into consideration the events that occurred in November, the office of the prosecutor in Versailles estimates that there are “approximately eight hours” left to perform on this police custody. The maximum amount of time an individual can be held in police custody is restricted to forty-eight hours by law.
After being contacted by AFP, the attorney for Aminata Diallo, Mourad Battikh, declined to respond right away.
The arrest of this fifth suspect follows the detention of four other guys on Wednesday and Thursday.
Three of them were taken into custody on Wednesday morning, and according to the prosecutor’s office in Versailles, they were going to be submitted before an examining magistrate on Friday morning so that they can be indicted for their crimes.
Within the context of an ongoing court investigation for “criminal association” and “aggravated violence,” all of these arrests have taken place.
Following the attack with an iron bar on Kheira Hamraoui, who is 32 years old and has 39 caps for the France team, the hypothesis of a rivalry between the two Paris Saint-Germain players who play in the same midfield position was initially considered. The attack occurred after Kheira Hamraoui was attacked with the iron bar.
Aminata Diallo and one of her companions who were detained in Lyon were taken to jail by the police, but in the end, no charges were brought against them.
Aminata Diallo has never wavered in her adamant opposition to being involved.
