BLACKPINK has been active in this region since 2016; nonetheless, there are still two territories that they have not mastered: the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 list and the very top of the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Katie and Keith speculate about the possibility of “Pink Venom” becoming the group’s first Hot 100 top 10 success in the most recent episode of the Billboard Pop Shop Podcast, which you can listen to below. Their previous best position on the chart was number 13, which they achieved with the song “Ice Cream,” which was a collaboration with Selena Gomez. While everything is going on, their 2020 project The Album launched and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. However, when Born Pink is released on September 16th, it has the potential to reach the top of the chart.
