The Walt Disney World Resort theme park company in Florida confirmed this Saturday in the voice of Glenn Close that its next great attraction “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind”, one of the largest indoor roller coasters in the world, will be inaugurated in the summer of 2022.
“Hello, friends of the Disney parks, here is Glenn Close and I am very excited to announce my role as Nova Prime in this new attraction …”, says the famous American actress, made up and dressed like her character in “Guardians of the Galaxy”.
His role belongs to the American superhero movie released in 2014 and is based on the superheroes created by the Marvel universe.
The video to promote the new attraction was distributed today in conjunction with the announcement made by Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products President Josh D’Amaro.
D’Amaro indicated that “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind” will open in summer 2022 at EPCOT as part of the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration.
“This exciting new family-friendly coaster matches the ‘grandeur’ and fun of the blockbuster ‘Guardians of the Galaxy movies, with those lovable cosmic misfits: Rocket, Groot, Drax, Gamora and Star-Lord, “ the company advanced this Saturday in a statement.
According to the description of Walt Disney World Resort, “it will be a roller coaster that rotates 360 degrees so that the visitor is always focused on all the action while helping the guardians save the galaxy.”
The trip, the statement said, “will also feature the first reverse roller coaster launch in Disney history and is expected to be one of the largest indoor roller coasters in the world. “
The new family roller coaster at EPCOT takes guests on an intergalactic chase through time and space with the heroes of Xandar and sets out to traverse an incredible intergalactic chase through time and space, the recreational company describes.
