Yesterday, the facilities of the Staples Center, in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, became the scene of two press conferences dedicated to the concerts that begin this weekend at the LA Live complex, and that will bring life back to this popular entertainment venue.
One of them was dedicated to Grupo Firme, the Tijuana phenomenon that begins tonight an impressive series of seven concerts at the huge Staples, which will take it to break records in terms of almost continuous performances in that venue.
But space was also given to Marca MP, which, for its part, will be at the nearby Microsoft Theater this Saturday. It is a regional Mexican music group formed in 2018 in Modesto, California, whose initials refer to Modesto and Patterson, since its founders were natives of those cities.
In 2019, MP achieved fame by recording the single “El güero” in duet with Eduin Caz, precisely from Grupo Firme, and the same song had 100 million views on YouTube. The group arrives at our shores with a new album, entitled “We continue to advance.”
