Excelsior University, based in Albany, New York, has started its new bilingual and online academic program ¡Adelante! to help Hispanic students in the US achieve their educational dreams.
Classes begin on March 7 and the registration period is now open for students who would like to register at https://www.excelsior.edu/adelante/.
The goal of Go! is to ensure that students can study in their native language while building a solid foundation in English and that they can graduate bilingual. Therefore, all programs begin in Spanish and students take English as a Second Language classes as they progress through the courses.
Students who have credits from other American universities or abroad, or who have even finished their university careers in their country of origin, may also benefit from this program. Courses are fully online and flexible, so students can organize classwork as they see fit.
“We want to help Spanish-speaking students to get ahead in their studies in the United States so that they can improve their lives and get better-paying jobs, appropriate to their educational level, which in turn also helps the Latino community to advance,” he explains. Ahead! offers scholarships and financial aid, as well as flexible financing. The program consists of six academic careers:
– AAS in Administrative and Management Studies
– Bachelor of Business Studies
– Diploma in Health Sciences
– Bachelor of Health Management
– AS in Liberal Arts
– Bachelor of Liberal Arts
